We expect employees, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and business partners to uphold ethical labor standards and comply with applicable labor, employment, anti-trafficking, and human-rights laws.

Our commitment includes the following expectations:

Due Diligence Processes

Before engaging new vendors or subcontractors, Black X Marketing Inc. considers whether they demonstrate ethical labor practices appropriate to the nature and risk of the engagement.

Where appropriate, Black X Marketing Inc. may:

  • Review vendor policies, public statements, or contractual commitments.
  • Request confirmation of compliance with applicable employment and labor standards.
  • Include ethical labor, confidentiality, and compliance obligations in contracts.
  • Limit or terminate relationships with vendors or partners that do not meet our standards.

Employees, contractors, vendors, and other relevant parties may raise concerns through the reporting process described below.

Risk Assessment and Management

Black X Marketing Inc. is a services-based digital marketing agency with a supply chain primarily composed of technology, software, cloud-service, and professional-service providers.

Based on this business model, our current exposure to modern-slavery and human-trafficking risk is considered lower than in industries involving physical manufacturing, raw materials, large-scale labor supply, transportation, agriculture, or complex multi-tier product supply chains.

However, we recognize that risk may change as our company grows, enters new markets, expands its workforce, adds subcontractors, or engages suppliers in higher-risk regions or industries.

We will continue to assess and manage these risks as our operations and supply chain develop.

Effectiveness and Performance Indicators

As Black X Marketing Inc. grows, we will monitor the effectiveness of our actions using appropriate performance indicators, which may include:

  • The percentage of applicable vendors and subcontractors completing due-diligence review.
  • The number or percentage of relevant employees completing modern-slavery awareness training.
  • The number of concerns reported, investigated, and resolved.
  • The number of vendor relationships suspended or terminated for ethical, labor, or compliance concerns.
  • Improvements made to vendor onboarding, contracting, and oversight processes.

Training

Black X Marketing Inc. will provide modern-slavery and human-trafficking awareness training to relevant personnel, particularly individuals responsible for vendor selection, procurement, contractor engagement, operations, management, and compliance.

Training will be expanded as the company’s workforce, geographic footprint, and supplier network grow.

When applicable, this statement will be approved by the appropriate governing body, signed by an authorized director or equivalent officer, published prominently on the Black X Marketing Inc. website, and reviewed and renewed annually.

It also requires qualifying organizations with websites to publish the statement and place a prominent homepage link to it.
